Hillcrest Baptist Church Leadership
Hillcrest Baptist Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Gary has been serving the Lord faithfully for all of his adult life. He is the husband to Lynn and father to Patrick and Adam. Originally from Kentucky, Hillcrest is the fourth church in which he has served as pastor, and he has served as chaplain for hospitals and other ministries. He has served in short-term missions from Katrina relief to Appalachian ministries as well as international missions to the Philippines, India, and El Salvador. He has a Business Administration degree from Campbellsville University, Master of Divinity Degree from the Billy Graham School of Missions and Church Growth at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern Batist Theological Siminary.
Next Generation Pastor
Jeff comes to us from the northwest Mo area where he has served as a youth pastor for the past four years. He and his wife, Ashley, are parents to Ellie and Emmett. Jeff was saved at eight years of age and while in college he was called into ministry. A graduate of College of the Ozarks, he has a BA in Religion and Philosophy with a minor in Christian Ministry and Music. He is currently working toward his Master of Theological Studies.
Interim Worship Leader
Sheila has been a Christian for over forty years and is an active member of Holy Hills Baptist Church. She is a retired Registered Nurse who is pursuing a second career in Christian ministry. Sheila joined the staff at Hillcrest in January 2020.
Wanda has been a member of Northside Church of Jesus Christ for 33 years. She worked at Maple Ridge Assisted living for 12 years. Prior to coming to Hillcrest, she worked for Volunteer Home Care for 4 years. She has been a faithful employee of Hillcrst since 2014.
